BRUTALITY OF THE ENEMY.—We learn that the enemy killed some of our men after taking them prisoners. Lee Shelby, of this place, it is stated on good authority, was shot after being captured. An escaped prisoner says that when the Yankees captured him he was struck by two Yankee officers with their swords and severely wounded.—Charlotte Democrat.
