To destroy weevils in rice
As the question of food is all important now, the following plan for killing weevils and preventing their hatching in rice I have found efficacious. Put the rice in a moderately tight room and burn about ten pounds of brimstone in a large iron pot. This will kill every weevil without injuring the rice.
