Wednesday 2nd [March 1864]
I began to plush Mr. Henry’s tops of his gloves last night. The first ones are too small so I will take them & put others to his. He went to Asheville today. No news. Gus is not at all well, has a cold & very cross. The others are all well. Mr. Henry will start soon I fear. The command in in Jackson Co. He is ordered up.
