Wednesday 30th [March 1864]
Finished the mending & cut a skirt for myself. Sewed some on it. I am not at all well today, worse than yesterday. Some of Mr. Henry’s Co. came here tonight with a prisoner. They sleep in Harrie’s room & lock the door tonight. Mr. Henry has been out all day, came in after we had eat supper, he & two others. They have been looking for Allen today but saw nothing of him. He lies in a cave I think. I do wish they would or could find him for he is always stealing something.
