Mr. Henry went to Asheville this morning & some of his men came home with him this evening. He brought no news. I made a pair drawers for myself today & wrote to Harrie, also to sister Lena. I fear Harrie will not live long. Eugenia is very uneasy about him. I expected a letter from Dora & Pinck tonight but was disappointed sadly. But little mail came to this office tonight. Some soldiers stay here tonight of Mr. Henry’s Co. They are nice genteel behaved men.
