Museum Monday: Guttapercha rings made by a prisoner of war #civilwar150

Guttapercha rings. These rings are possibly mourning rings since gutta-percha is often associated with mourning. Several of today’s posts deal with death, or memory of loved ones who have recently died. These rings were made by a Confederate prisoner of war.
